The documents used are for training purposes only - do not attempt to use any of these numbers for actual operations. As part of an oral & practical Aircraft Dispatcher FAA exam, the candidate is expected to give an example flight crew briefing. Listen and follow along as I give an example brief for a flight from KORD - KSEA with weather, fuel planning, weight limitations, an application of various ops specs along with Exemption 3585. Specialized dispatcher training and/or experience requirements are necessary to become an aircraft dispatcher certificated by the FAA. This turn and bank indicator is very similar to the turn coordinator except that the turn coordinator can show both rate of turn AND rate of roll. The turn coordinator does this through the tilt of the gyro in how it is mounted. This older version is called a turn and bank or turn and slip indicator.

Is JSX an airline? I decided to delve into this question after looking at their website and seeing what seems to be a scheduled service with very nice airplanes (Embraer 145s) with only 30 seats each. How is this not a Part 121 air carrier? I found out through a little digging around! This video will help you understand the differences between Part 121 and Part 135 operators focusing at a high level at regulatory differences. Please note: this is NOT intended to be an attack on JSX or their model of operation. It is merely a springboard for discussion on the differences between the two sets of regulations and their implications.
